Prodotto in Ungheria dal 1826, Herend è noto per la sua qualità eccezionale, artigianalità e design unici. Fondata nel 1826 da Vince Stingl nel villaggio di Herend, in Ungheria, la manifattura ottenne rapidamente riconoscimenti per le sue squisite creazioni in porcellana. Verso la metà del XIX secolo, la porcellana di Herend aveva ottenuto consensi internazionali, ricevendo il patrocinio reale della regina Vittoria e dell'imperatore Francesco Giuseppe d'Austria. La porcellana Herend è realizzata meticolosamente utilizzando tecniche collaudate nel tempo tramandate da generazioni di artigiani. Founded in 1825 by Andrea Galvani, the factory produces a wide range of ceramics, including tableware, decorative objects and tiles. Galvani ceramics were renowned for their high quality, their refined design and their meticulous workmanship. The factory enjoyed great success during the 19th and 20th centuries, exporting its products all over the world. However, in the 1970s the company faced a series of financial difficulties which led to its closure in 1984. Today, Galvani ceramics are highly sought after by collectors.
