Very Rare Japanese Antique Pottery Vase / Echizen Ware / 1500-1600

We have a unique Japanese aesthetic sense. And only we can introduce unique items through our purchasing channels in Japan and the experience we have gained so far, in such a way that no one else can imitate. We have arrived a wonderfully colored jar. This is "Echizen ware". Echizen is a historic kiln located in Fukui prefecture, Japan. (The place marked with a red circle on the map is the Echizen kiln) It is said to have originated around the 9th century. There are 6 kilns with a long history that still continue in Japan, It is one of them. This jar was made around 1500-1600. It is a work from the Muromachi period to the Momoyama period, which is older than the Edo period. Many vases have been made, but this is one of the rarest vases in the color of baking. Normally, in this era, the inside of the kiln is burned at a high temperature, but this is probably because the temperature was relatively low in the kiln. There is carbon adhesion as seen in earthenware. This black part is where carbon is attached. It is very rare to be in this state. And very beautiful. You can't find a beautiful jar from any angle of 360 degrees. In addition, there are some repair points. There are about 4 places: mouth part, shoulder part, torso part, and lower part. Be sure to check the repaired part as I took a picture. It is often restored in this way because it is a very old jar. In addition, the Echizen jars from the Muromachi period to the Momoyama period are marked with a kiln. This will allow you to identify the location and age of the kiln. A jar with the same kiln stamp as this jar was published in the art book, so I will post it. A special storage wooden box is also included. This is a highly recommended item. There are few stores that sell such things in 1stdibs. We sell with confidence. "Note" If you put water in it, it will leak from the bottom, so if you want to decorate the flowers, put water in another container and put it in the jar. Weight: 4.1 kg.
