Very Rare Korean Antique White Porcelain Jar / Wasabi-Sabi Vase/Joseon Dynasty

About the Item

This is a white porcelain vase made in Korea in the latter half of the 19th century. During the Joseon dynasty in Korea, the white pottery was considered a noble one. Many masterpieces are white. And this is pottery from the late Joseon Dynasty. The Joseon Dynasty began in the 15th century, and the history of pottery is divided into the early 15th century to the 16th century, the middle 17th century to the first half of the 18th century, and the late 18th century to the 19th century. The design of porcelain changes with each era. As for how to make it, high-quality white rock is ground on powder, and after shaping it, a transparent glaze is poured over it. It's very simple to make. This item, which was made in the late period, has a long mouth part that is unique to the late period, and the most bulging part is at the top, and it tapers toward the bottom.(A white porcelain with similar characteristics was posted at the Korean Cultural Heritage Masterpieces Exhibition, so I'm posting a photo here.) It has a typical character, but the surface has a very varied and interesting atmosphere. First of all, it is this crack. Irregular lines have a painting-like artistry. Also, on one side, there is a part where the transparent glaze is dripping thinly, giving it a transparent and fresh atmosphere. And this was originally whiter, but after many years of use, the surface of the pottery has a slight brown stain, giving it a very beautiful shade. Originally it was a simple and pure white porcelain, but this one is different from that kind of thing. In addition, this is an understatement, so it doesn't interfere with either gorgeous or rustic flowers. It is an item that harmonizes with any space. I put about 1/3 of water in it and left it for a day, but there was no water leakage. You can decorate flowers directly. I have seen many Korean white porcelains for a long time, but it is difficult to find white porcelain with such wabi-sabi. Also, even if the small items have a wabi-sabi atmosphere, it is rare to find a large item with such a good atmosphere. I sell with confidence.
