About the Item

A stunning and sculptural art glass bowl designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, Sweden. The piece features his signature style of abstract, colorful thread and droplet decoration, masterfully embedded within the clear crystal body. Hand-blown with artistic control, the piece plays with movement and color through internal swirl lines in purple, blue, green and black, and complementary streaks in the stem. Signed underneath: “Lindstrand Kosta” (engraved and stamped), along with LV2018 This piece is part of a series of abstract glassworks Lindstrand created during his mid-to-late 1950s period at Kosta. These pieces were not mass-produced but rather made in limited quantities, with each showing subtle variations due to their hand-crafted nature.
