Art Nouveau, Jugendstil, silver plated vase, Carl M Cohr, Denmark, 1900s. Extremely rare, this Jugendstil vase is an exquisite example of the early 1900s works, remarkably realized by the renowned Danish manufacturer Carl M Cohr. This vase was made by using several techniques, made of silver plated metal, with its original glass vase inset. The metal body features an impressive floral decor frieze, hammered to the lower part, wheel cut decor to the glass rim. In excellent overall condition, some normal patina and wear accordingly to its age. Marked to the bottom with "Two towers" mark, N.S., later stamped with D.S. - the mark for the plating quality.
