About the Item

This is a beautiful antique brass Irish Setter dog ashtray made by Virginia Metalcrafters in the 1920s. The bottom is stamped "3-2 SETTER" and has the Virginia Metalcrafters logo. The detail of the dogs is stunning as is the patina. It is made of cast brass and it is a great example of American Craftsman. It is both decorative and functional as an ashtray.
