HISTORY
The "HB" stands for Hubaudière-Bousquet, one of the main factories in Quimper, France, which produced pottery in the 1930s. The factory marks during this time would typically include "HB Quimper". Quimper faience is a form of regional pottery from Brittany, a region in France with strong Celtic cultural roots and traditions. The designs, including the typical Breton figures and motifs, reflect this heritage.
