About the Item
Angelo Mangiarotti has developed in his career an enduring relationship with marble as a natural element of the land. True to his idea of designing small objects as if they were architecture, he created a series of ashtrays, bowls and vases with different manufactures. This piece, a sculptural ashtray, is a relevant example of this research, with its perfect proportions and craftsmanship.
Made of black marble, it is in excellent condition with wear consistent with age and use.
A custom-made new scratch-resistant felt was applied to the base.
