An early 20th C Golf themed, sterling silver, cigar ashtray by Unger Bros. New Jersey.
Featuring an African American caddy with a bag on the course. Two clubs fixed across the lower part of the tray to catch the ashes.
A small oval tray with a beaded edge embossed / stamped with the African American caddy holding a bag of clubs on the course. The stamping
comparable to a very fine minted coin. Jewelry like quality details. A small gentleman's smoking accoutrement with a golf theme, Unusual and scarce about 100 years or so old. Bearing the very small makers and sterling stamp of Unger Bros., New Jersey. Comparable to Tiffany. Historic African American caddy in period attire.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. A couple of dark tarnish marks on the silver, can be polished out. I can do that if desired. This was polished very little and has the incredible detail of a miniature. Just laying on a table / desk with a fresh cigar is a statement.
