Exceptional Italian midcentury smokers table or side table with integrated catch-all. A very sculptural design with an organically shaped steel tripod base, a round white marble tabletop and brass grip finial. Underneath the marble top is an additional arm with an abstract enameled organic copper dish, which can be used as an ashtray or catch all. The steel base is lacquered in black and shows some corrosion due to age; the marble top has a few scratches; there is some patina on the brass and the enameled 'side dish', which can be rotated to go under the top, is in excellent condition and is reminiscent of the work by Paolo di Poli...
