Vintage Piero Fornasetti Sailing Flaf Code Ceramic Dish, "Flags to Be Used In The International Code", 1960's. The rectangular Piero Fornasetti Ceramic dish depicts a series of signal flags with their corresponding letter equivalent from A-Z. This size dish was for jewelry or trinkets. Dimensions: 5 1/2 inches x 4 1/4 inches x 3/4 inch high. Mark: Black printed star shape stamp with in white reverse the Fornasetti Hand and brush and Fornasetti/Made in Italy. Milano in the surround with a painted blue workman's mark in for of a green "J". Condition: Good with slight rubbing to the title- "Flags to be used..." and its printed surround- see photo. Reference: Fornasetti: The Complete Universe, Barnaba Fornasetti, Page 574, #57 for an illustrated example. (Ref: NY10763-inix)
