Amazing vintage sommerso murano glass ashtray.
Made by Arte Nuova in the 1950s/60s, this piece is unmarked, but it can be found online with a label that reads "Arte Nuova Murano, Pustetto
Zanetti, Made in Italy". It features a stunning combination of green glass, encased in a band of amber glass and further encased in clear glass using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.
It is very well-preserved, It represents the patina expected from a glass object over 50 years old, no cracks or chips.
