About the Item

Elegant and rare set of five stacked brass ashtrays designed by Italian designer Tommaso Barbi in the 1970s. The five modular elements stack together to form a sculptural brass sphere, characteristic of Barbi’s organic and luxurious aesthetic. Each section can be used individually as a small ashtray or catchall, while the complete assembly creates a striking decorative object.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Good vintage condition. The brass shows an attractive aged patina, with some surface scratches from use, and two small dents, all consistent with age and material. The piece remains stable, functional, and visually impressive.
