This ashtray features a yellow sunny abstract design.

Vintage Modern Metal Art, with a mix of rich metallic cobalt blue, brown and white enamels with abstract circles.Ashtray set of Three. Signed in front numbered in back, signatures are almost gone but remain visible.
Circa 1950-1960's, Made in USA California.
Dimensions: 2 x 4 inches and 5.25 in x 0.3in.
Good vintage condition with light wear and crazing.
Sascha Brastoff (1917-1993) was an iconic mid century designer and the founder of a successful production ceramics studio factory and line that operated in Los Angeles, California.
He was active in the Los Angeles area from 1947-1963
The production ware lines included dinnerware sets, vases, decorative plates, figurines and more. The wide range of series show Brastoff’s influences: theater and performance, futurism and abstraction, and the stylistic tastes of a midcentury Los Angeles.
