A rare pair of early 20th-century Chinese cocktail shakers by Kut Hing, one of the most esteemed Swatow pewterware makers. Known for their intricate craftsmanship, these shakers feature hand-engraved dragon motifs—an emblem of power and prosperity in Chinese tradition.
Each piece is composed of three parts: a canister, a strainer top, and a fitted cup. The double-thickness pewter base enhances durability, while the markings on the underside authenticate their origin. These substantial, finely detailed shakers exemplify the artistry of Swatow pewter and make a striking addition to any collection of barware or decorative metalwork.
