About the Item

This charming 1930s porcelain figural decanter is a delightful representation of a cricket player, embodying the playful spirit of the era. The decanter is meticulously crafted, featuring a detailed design with the player's head serving as the stopper. The cricket player is captured mid-stance, wearing traditional cricket attire, and his expression is wonderfully exaggerated. On the back of the cricket player’s left shoe, the mark "1154" is inscribed. The decanter is in excellent condition overall. The only minor flaw is the cork, which has dried over time, making the stopper a bit challenging to remove. Despite this, the decanter remains an exquisite decorative piece.

1930 s German Art Deco Porcelain Half Doll
Located in Red Lion, PA
Stunning 1930s German Art Deco Porcelain Half Doll with Rococo Hairstyle This exquisite 1930s German porcelain half doll captures the refined beauty and timeless glamour of the Art Deco period, paired with the romantic influence of 18th-century Rococo style. Rendered in fine porcelain with exceptional attention to detail, this rare figure is a striking example of German artistry at its peak. Her delicate features are simply enchanting — bright blue eyes accented by soft blue eyeshadow, rosy cheeks, and vivid red lips, all hand-painted with precision. Her ornate updo evokes the powdered wigs of the 1700s, gathered high with an elegant bow at the back and a tiny tiara perched at the front, nodding to both historic elegance and theatrical flair. What sets this figure apart is her graceful, outstretched arms, posed in a fluid and balletic gesture, capturing a moment of poised movement. It’s a pose both sculptural and expressive, and one rarely seen in typical half dolls. Her condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or signs of repair. Here delicately painted features remain vivid after nearly a century. German half dolls...

Handsome 1920 s Napoleon Boneparte Sarreguemines France Majolica Character Mug
By Sarreguemines
Located in Red Lion, PA
A rare and exceptionally handsome 1920s Majolica character mug by Sarreguemines, France, depicting a youthful Napoleon Bonaparte in vibrant color and exquisite detail. This beautifully modeled mug captures Napoleon with piercing gray eyes, a crisp red and green military uniform, and his iconic bicorne hat, rendered in classic French Majolica glaze. The interior reveals a luminous blue-green glaze, a hallmark of Sarreguemines’ artistry during the early 20th century. An example of this exact mug is held in the permanent collection of the Sarreguemines Museum, underscoring its importance as a collectible and its rarity on the market. The underside is clearly stamped: “Sarreguemines France, 461.” This piece is in excellent vintage condition, with only minor surface wear to the base and no chips, cracks, or repairs, a remarkable preservation for a nearly century-old ceramic. Character mugs, also known as face mugs or toby jugs, became highly collectible in the 19th and early 20th centuries, prized for their artistry and humor. Sarreguemines, one of France’s most renowned faience and Majolica manufacturers, produced some of the most refined and expressive examples. A Napoleon Bonaparte character mug is especially sought after, combining historical fascination, French patriotism, and the enduring legacy of one of Europe’s most iconic figures. This Napoleon Majolica mug...
