About the Item
American Edwardian sterling silver and glass cocktail shaker, ca 1920. Tapering clear glass bowl with acid-etched Gothic castle with castellated turrets, between trees, leaping gazelle, and leafing scroll and diaper ornament. Short inset neck in sterling silver collar. Cover domed with built-in strainer and cap. Cover and cap have low relief scroll and flower borders. Silver marked “Sterling”.
