An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver wine flagon; an addition to our range of wine and drink related silverware.
This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver jug has an octagonal form onto an octofoil shaped spreading foot.
The surface of this exceptional antique flagon is plain and encompassed with applied girdles.
This impressive silver flagon retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover, featuring a swept octagonal form to a plain plateau.
The flagon is fitted with a substantial silver scrolling handle.
This versatile jug could be utilised for a multitude of functions, including beer, cordial and water.
Such large and plain examples of this superior gauge of silver and in this desirable style are rare to the market.

This antique Edwardian silver flagon is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full British hallmarks struck to the surface and part hallmarks to the cover are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the superior gauge of silver.
