As found in at a French market, this classic green and white matchstick striker or "Pyrogène" dates from the early twentieth Century. The paper center is used for striking matches that are stored inside the top. Reads Victor De Schreye Grammont Cigarettes Allumettes. A wonderful find to add to a collection. Marked on the bottom.
