About the Item

A classic Antique George III solid silver Lidded Tankard in a traditional straight sided design. The Tankard has a spread foot and a hinged domed lid and has an engraved crest and monogram opposite the substantial scroll handle. The Tankard has a later engraved message under the base reading 'The unit of Happiness from The International Society October 8th 1902' The Tankard was made in London in 1771 by Thomas Wallis. Approx. Weight - 845g / 27.17oz Approx. Height - 20.3cm Approx. Diameter at Base - 13cm The Tankard has a Full English Hallmark on the side of the body and on the inside of the lid. This Tankard is in excellent condition with no damage. STOCK CODE - GEO01 WIN01.
