About the Item
Art Deco Period, sterling silver-mounted boar tusk corkscrew, American, Ca, 1925. Measures 5 inches (going around the curve) from curved end to curved end x 4 1/8 inches high from bottom corkscrew itself to top of tusk (highest point) x 1 1/2 inches diameter across sterling silver mount (widest point) x 4 inches across from tip to tip. The sterling silver mount has a scalloped design on its border. There are some small dints to the sterling silver and a very fine, natural line on the tusk itself (see photos) that are commensurate with age and use. In good antique condition.
