About the Item

This gorgeous Art Deco decanter was realized in Czechoslovakia, circa 1930. It features a tiered skyscraper style base whose edges are finished with sterling silver, and a conical body in smoked amethyst glass. The neck features sinuous curves that are repeated on the stopper. The body offers stylized foliate detailing in a sterling silver overlay. With its old world craftsmanship- characterized by a fastidious attention to detail- and graceful lines, this piece promises to add a touch of elegance to any surface that it graces. While it is a perfectly functional decanter- perfect for any bar set- it is also an objet d'art in its own right that would be a winning addition to any side table or bar cart. Czechoslovakia, circa 1930. Dimensions: 8.75" height x 4.5" diameter.
