About the Item

A vintage cased set of barware comprising of Champagne cork remover, a pair of ice tongs and an angled bottle opener. The three pieces are gold plated and in superb (barely or unused) condition and remain in their original presentation box; the interior of the lid printed with the Royal Warrant for the late Queen Elizabeth - "By Appointment To Her Majesty The Queen, Goldsmiths, Silversmiths Jewellers - Asprey Company Limited, Bond Street, London". Case - 24cm x 18cm x 3.5cm Asprey is a British luxury retailer that sells high-quality, handmade goods such as jewelry, leather, silver, china, crystal, and timepieces. A magnificent piece of mid-century modern barware, an iconic centrepiece for the finest of cocktail parties. Made from silverplate, it was black with tarnish when it arrived with us, but once polished, restoring it to it's former glory, it was clear to see this has been stored away for the last 50 years remaining in superb undamaged condition. Ice would be stored in the base and chilled shots of Vodka or similar would sit in the cut-outs to the lid. Made in Italy by Argenteria Sabattini signed on the underside. Excellent condition spanning 9 3/4" across the top x 4 1/4" tall to top of glasses; each glass spanning 2 1/4" in diameter across the rim x 4" tall.
