About the Item

Carved Olive Wood Coaster Set, from France Circa 1970. Rare set of 6 coasters and their gouged storage box. The set is hand-carved in a beautiful olive wood. The woodwork on the storage box makes it a very nice piece : the four sides of the box has been sculpted with a gouge, that gives it a geometric pattern. Very typical of the 1970s "boho chic" kitchen and barware accessories. Beautiful patina !
