Large, substantial Italian MCM hand chased grape motif 800 purity silver wine cooler with matching serving tray by Pietro Chinetti, Via Leonardo da Vinci 2, Milan(Gallarate), Varese, Circa 1955-1971. Superb, luxurious MCM grape vine motif hand hammered silver wine cooler with a fabulous, large serving tray for glasses or nibbles. The scale of this piece is large enough to also serve as a vase for a lovely bouquet of flowers or a centerpiece. The matching serving tray is ideal for cheese or hors d'oeuvres. Top of the line quality on par with Buccellati, great Italian craftsmanship and design. The wine cooler: 8" high, 6.88" diameter Tray: 13 inches diameter Marks: 800, star 08 VA, makers mark for Pietro Chinetti Condition: Very Good, light surface wear commensurate with age.

Rare, very early George I period silver brandy/spirits warmer, Joseph Clare I, London, 1714. Wonderful, historically interesting 308 years barware piece. Classic circular tapering form with a shaped base, heavy solid silver with a beautifully turned oak handle. Fully hallmarked on the side of the body Period initials on the bottom of base N E M Measurements: 3.32 inches in diameter, 5.25 inches to the to of handle, 2.13 inches height of vessel. 1714 was the year George I ascended the throne, making this an interesting, very early piece of Georgian silver. Excellent piece in very good condition commensurate with age. Beautiful old patina on the silver and the fine oak handle.
