Large, substantial Italian MCM hand chased grape motif 800 purity silver wine cooler with matching serving tray by Pietro Chinetti, Via Leonardo da Vinci 2, Milan(Gallarate), Varese,
Circa 1955-1971.
Superb, luxurious MCM grape vine motif hand hammered silver wine cooler with a fabulous, large serving tray for glasses or nibbles. The scale of this piece is large enough to also serve as a vase for a lovely bouquet of flowers or a centerpiece. The matching serving tray is ideal for cheese or hors d'oeuvres. Top of the line quality on par with Buccellati, great Italian craftsmanship and design.

Measurements: 3.32 inches in diameter, 5.25 inches to the to of handle, 2.13 inches height of vessel.
1714 was the year George I ascended the throne, making this an interesting, very early piece of Georgian silver.
