About the Item

French carved oak tantalus box with deer head. Cruets and 15 matched cordial glasses, one with small chip. All sides of the box are expertly carved- front has shield and foliage designs in plaque, with sides having mirrored foliage designs. Back is empty with same plaque design as front. Top of the box features carving of deer head, fox, and draped birds on top and bottom with foliage design. Glassware is all etched with foliage design. Stunning set, great for careful continued use in a home bar.
