French Gilt Bronze and cut-Glass Tiered Liquor (Tantalus) Set
late 19th century, perhaps Baccarat
Of Demilune form, with an open crown, the hinged upper tier lifting up and set with a shelf cut with diagonal flutes, with a conformingly cut glass back with bronze acanthus and a beaded border, set with ams that support an open frame with three etched glass stoppered bottles, the similarly shaped bottom also set with a glass plate, over a fluted bronze border, raised on four gadrooned bun feet. (one leaf at side repaired)
