About the Item
Angeboten wird ein großer mid century Eiswürfelbehälter. Er stammt aus Italien der 1970er Jahre. Die Kennzeichnung „Made in Italy“ befindet sich auf der Unterseite des Eiswürfelkühlers. Der Eiskühler besteht aus zwei teilen, und hat die Form einer Birne. Der Außenkorpus der Birne ist aus gebürsteten Aluminium, der untere, innenligende Teil, aus Plastik. Das Plastik hat keine Löcher und hält dicht, man kann den Eiswürfelkühler auch wirklich benutzen.
Ansonsten ist es ein schönes Hollywood Regency Piece, dass nicht nur ein besondre Blickfang ist sonder auch ein hervorragendes Stück zum sammeln ist. Inspirieret wurde der italienische Hersteller von den mid century Stücken von Ettore Sottsass und Manetti.
