A fine Modernist pewter pitcher or ewer.
By John 'Jack' Prip.
In the form of a narrow, tapering pitcher with an integral handle.
Prip, a master metalsmith, is an extremely important figure in the history of American metalsmithing. Prip was Danish-American and combined the technical excellence he learned from experts like Danish Master Silversmith Evald Nielsen with the American spirit of innovation.

There is a small amount of wear, discoloration and bending at the spout. Otherwise, the surface has an unpolished (and unwashed) patina, some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
