About the Item
Cover wine : Crocodile
Our K-OVERs, are alternatives to the champagne bucket and the" glacettes" . The precious metal that holds the bottle is coated internally with a thermal fabric that keeps wine bottles cool. They are entirely handmade works by master goldsmiths. In this case in the K-OVER Crocodile, master goldsmith Marco Fedi, tried his hand at reproductions of crocodile skin The techniques used are drawing, and low relief. The relief is three-dimensional, to highlight the technical difficulty of increasing the volumes toward the outside of the cover, the cover itself being circular in shape and small in diameter. Since it is not possible to use a hammer inside the cover, ancient Renaissance working techniques were used.
Master goldsmith:
Marco Fedi, began his career in the 1980s working for the most prestigious goldsmith workshops in Florence: learn freehand drawing, chiseling and engraving techniques. In his career, he has worked on projects for Tiffany, Bulgari, and Christofle. Today with K-OVER he collaborates on the collections, "Design," "Memories." and " Works of art."

K-OVER is the brand of P.M.P, Florence srl, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the silverware industry. Building on this long experience in the silver industry, we have developed a new product: a modern champagne bucket. Our K-OVERs keep your champagne or wine bottles cool. The covers can be used an infinite number of times; by unscrewing the cap located on the bottom, bottles can be changed. Our covers are suitable for European Bordeaux shape bottles . This is a widely used format , especially for red wines. If you have your own bottle and would like to check the fit please provide us with the maximum diameter of your bottle.
All our wine covers are made of pure 999/° silver.

This exceptional and rare antique George V sterling silver hip flask has a rectangular form with rounded corners.
The surface of the glass body is ornamented with an impressive crocodile skin covering.
