About the Item

We are offering for sale a very stylish bottle opener dating back to the mid 20th century modern whose style reference is undoubtedly the Hollywood Regency. Most likely produced in Europe between the 60s and 70s, it is made of metal with silver plating. The material used and the Faux Bamboo made us think that its production could be attributed to the Italian company "San Marco" which produced similar cutlery in the post-war period. The structure of this vintage bottle opener faithfully reproduces bamboo canes attached to each other, which refer primarily to the Chinese Chippendale style but also to the successful French furniture production of the mid-twentieth century by Maison Jansen. The item is functional, solid and stable, in the photo you see it combined with an ice bucket of similar manufacture and other items available in our selection on this website.
