About the Item
We are pleased to offer for sale a playfully designed piece that is sure to stand out in your bar area. This is a pewter ice bucket with silvered details, shaped like a charming apple. Made in Italy and hand-finished, as confirmed by the mark engraved on the base, it dates to the mid-20th century.
The upper portion of this vintage ice bucket features a realistic, sculptural silvered pewter handle reminiscent of pieces produced by the Manetti manufactory. The leaves and stem forming the handle used to open the ice bucket are finely chased, creating a pleasing contrast with the central body of the apple, which is characterized by a more minimal design.
Used and appreciated over time, it shows signs of age and wear, including small scratches and areas of oxidation.
