About the Item

This set of 8 stainless steel cordials / aperitifs or shot glasses is attributed to Arne Jacobsen, the sought-after mid-century Danish architect and designer of the Functionalist Movement. Jacobsen was among the 20th century's most famous designers. Think Egg Chair, Swan Chair, Ant Chair. This set of cordials is a rare MCM find in spectacular condition. With the handled holder to make pouring and toting easier, these glasses are great for a stylish picnic or tailgate party, as well as for a well-equipped home bar. Purchased from Adler Schnee, the once iconic MCM homewares boutique in Mid-Town Detroit, they also have a bit of a provenance. They were owned by an architect who had studied directly with Frank Lloyd Wright.
