About the Item

An exceptional signed sculptured wine bottle cradle by the renowned French Artist and Sculptor Richard Faure. Hand crafted in brass, and intricately detailed in the form of a chestnut with foliage, this rare and unique piece of art, is fully signed and in superb condition. In the 1980’s, working for Maison Honoré Paris which was founded by Hubert Deniau, Richard and Isabelle Faure, created fantastical lighting, home wares and furniture drawing inspiration from the natural world, and using combinations of metals, semi-precious stones and intricate technical designs. Dimensions: Length 26cm x width 16cm x height 21cm Please note this holds wine bottles, it will not hold champagne bottles as they are too wide.
