Marvelous vintage Scandinavian Modern dark brown stemware set of 12 made in Sweden composed of 6 wine goblets 6 champagne coups attributed to Bjorkshult Swedish Glass. This piece has been attributed based upon archived research including online sources, vintage documentation and catalogs, designer literature, and other materials however, it is not signed or marked in any way. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, no outstanding flaws were detected. Bjorkshult Sweden Glassworks was a Swedish glass manufacturer founded in 1892 and was known for their high-quality household and ornamental glassware. They produced a wide range of items including cut glass, glass animals, and toughened industrial glass. The most sought-after pieces today are their mid-century modern vintage barware pieces such as lowball and stemmed glasses in smoke gray, black, brown, and light green tints. The company operated through the years under various owners until they went bankrupt in 1977. Very large extensive set of coin Mid-Century Modern barware and glasses by Cera. The set consisting of eight highball glasses, eight 5-ounce rocks glasses, seven footed beer glasses, and three nut bowls in metal carrier. All in fabulous vintage condition with all 22-karat gold and black design intact, circa mid-20th century. This barware is so Mad Men!! How wonderful it will look in your Mid-Century Modern bar.
