A striking set of three silver-plated wine goblets designed and manufactured in Taxco, Mexico by renowned artist and silversmith Emilia Castillo. Expertly crafted in solid brass with a hammered silver-plated finish, each goblet features a sculptural lizard motif inlaid with genuine black onyx, a signature element of Castillo’s nature-inspired designs.
These collectible goblets highlight the exceptional workmanship of the Castillo family, whose legacy is central to Taxco’s iconic silversmithing tradition. Each piece retains the Emilia Castillo hallmark on the underside, reading: Emilia Castillo, Mexico, M.R., TO-85, Plateado. Two goblets are marked #5, and one is marked #0, denoting workshop variations within the same series.
