Silver Set of Four Gorgeous Carafes Pitchers Vintage made by German manufactury / c.1900 - 1910 This set consists of four pitchers: -- CARAFE / PITCHER height: 16 cm ( = circa 6.4 inches ) BRANDED BY GERMAN OFFICIAL STAMP: Crescent with Crown SILVER 800 master's mark existing, but it is a bit rubbed decorated: the silver mounting (holder for thumb included) is shaped as feathered head of a bird / the spout is hidden by bird's beak / excellently shaped handle with a lovely detail: the tiny head of a child's head is attached to it glass bowl: excellently cut pattern (garland of flower's blossoms with leaves as well as of meshes hung up) -- CARAFE / PITCHER height: 18.5 cm ( = circa 7.4 inches ) BRANDED BY GERMAN OFFICIAL STAMP: Crescent with Crown SILVER 800 master's mark: Gebrüder Kühn ( = Kühn Brothers ) / Schwäbisch Gmünd decorated: the silver mounting (small narrow holder for thumb included) is excellently shaped in Art Nouveau manner / excellently decorated with stylized floral patterns / the handle is of very elegant impression glass bowl: excellently cut pattern (various stylized ornaments of geometric and floral type: stylized leaves) -- CARAFE / PITCHER height: 27.5 cm ( = circa 11.0 inches ) BRANDED BY GERMAN OFFICIAL STAMP: Crescent with Crown SILVER 800 master's mark: Pegau (Pforzheim) / Silberwarenfabrik ( = silver manufactory ) decorated: the silver mounting (round holder for thumb included) is excellently shaped in Art Nouveau manner (smooth surface) / the handle is of very elegant impression, too glass bowl: cut star pattern at reverse side of round foot / the glass with smooth surface is of tapering type -- CARAFE / PITCHER height: 28 cm ( = circa 11.2 inches ) BRANDED BY GERMAN OFFICIAL STAMP: Crescent with Crown SILVER 800 master's mark: Pegau (Pforzheim) / Silberwarenfabrik ( = silver manufactory ) decorated: the silver mounting (round holder for thumb included) is excellently shaped in Art Nouveau manner (smooth surface) / the handle is of very elegant impression, too glass bowl: excellently cut pattern (garland of mesh hung up with bands as well as striped cut pattern at top area of glass bowl)
