Made in Spain by Valenti Circa 1960
From our Barware collection, we are pleased to offer this rare example Valenti Boars head ice bucket.
Similar to the Valenti pitchers that can be found in our collection here, the ice bucket is modelled with a silver plated body and boars head lid which is naturally cast with glass eyes and open mouth. The lid of the ice bucket removes to access the double lined globular body which has a central removable liner for storing ice separate from the drinks internally.
The boars head ice bucket by Valenti dates to the mid-century modern period circa 1960.
Valenti (1798-present)
is a company in the high-range decoration industry with a long tradition and artisan roots base in Barcelona, Spain since 1798. Its products are influenced by the decorative arts and the renaissance of craftsmanship applied to modernity. Its designs are unique products, made with the attention and care of a silversmith, which are exclusive and loaded with sophistication. In the manufacture of the products, the last technologies and innovation serving the traditional handicraft techniques are combined and also the shapes and the finishing as well as the use of the first raw materials are cared for in detail.
However, Valentí, despite its two-century track is not a company which remains stuck in the past.
