About the Item
The Norwegian designer, silversmith and enamel artist is know as 'The Queen of Scandinavian Design'. The main reason being her exquisite enamel pieces for Cathrineholm in Norway. This small jar or cigarette cup was a part of the Cathedral series from 1955. This particular piece originally made for the Norwegian Cruise Line is executed in striped teal green enamel that seems like it has never been in use. Its lid doubles as an ashtray and it features a removable 4 compartment plastic insert should you like it more as a trinket for vanity purposes or a decorative jar for interior design. Its condition is a mentioned pristine and it has no defects or scratches. What a special, rare and personal present for a loved one.
