About the Item

This rare Spremita Deluxe juicer was designed in the 1960s by Italian designer Lino Saltini and manufactured by Atlantic Milano. Created during a period of intense innovation in Italian industrial design, the Spremita is widely regarded as one of the most iconic manual juicers of the twentieth century. Executed in metal and molded plastic, the juicer features an innovative lever mechanism that combines mechanical efficiency with sculptural elegance. Its expressive form reflects the design-forward approach that defined Italy’s postwar creative output, where everyday objects were elevated to works of functional art. The Spremita juicer is part of the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, confirming its historical and cultural importance. This example remains in excellent vintage condition, showing only minimal superficial marks consistent with age, and retains its original box, a notable rarity that significantly enhances its collector value. An important acquisition for collectors of Italian design, MoMA-listed objects, or museum-quality industrial design pieces from the 1960s.
