Emilia Castillo is the daughter of Antonio Castillo, one of the four founding brothers of Los Castillo, the legendary Taxco silver workshop established in the 1930s. Emilia inherited this artisanal legacy, establishing her own studio in Taxco in the late 1980s. Her work now in jewelry continues the family tradition of fine metalcraft while introducing a more organic modern aesthetic, blending silver-plated copper, natural stones, and hand-hammered textures in sculptural, contemporary forms.
