About the Item
A Spanish pair of hand-painted ceramic bowls from the early 20th century. These antique bowls from Spain are round in shape, with widest part being at the top lip, and gradually tapering down and resting upon a flat base. They are designed in a whimsical blue and green colored motif of birds and foliage about their interior basins, and scrolling leaves about their exteriors. The bowls have a wonderful old patina, with chipping and cracks due to prior use and wear, but it's a lovely showing of character and age. Note that bowls are differing in size. Measurements noted in listing are for the larger bowl; smaller bowl measures 15.75" diameter and 6.75" tall. This pair of early 20th century Spanish ceramic bird-themed bowls are ideal for decorative use; be it hanging on a wall, or displayed nicely upon a table top or shelf.
