About the Item
A modernist silver plate and crystal caviar serving bowl, dish, or chiller designed by French silversmith Gelb in the 1980s. Sophisticated design with a streamlined geometric shape, featuring a rounded silver-plated metal ice container and support, and a small crystal caviar bowl insert. The legal silversmith hallmarks are present on the underside of the bowl. This set is still in its original branded storage box.
This caviar set is in pristine condition and probably never used.
Measurements:
Overall: 7.88 in diameter (20 cm) by 3.75 in high (9.5 cm). The small caviar bowl is 4.13 in diameter (10.5 cm) by 1.75 in high (4.5 cm).
The gift box is 8.25 in wide (21 cm) by 8.25 in deep (21 cm) by 6.32 in high (16 cm).
