About the Item

Elevate a vanity, console, or dining table with this refined French mirrored plateau crafted circa 1880. Designed in the Louis XVI style, the piece features a beautifully cast bronze gallery with delicate openwork scrolling foliage and floral motifs, creating an elegant neoclassical frame around the mercury glass mirror. Resting on three finely modeled bronze feet shaped as stylized acanthus brackets, the plateau has a light, elevated presence that enhances any object displayed upon it.
