About the Item
19th Century Oriental Style Centrepiece, of tri-form aspect, comprising an ovoid porcelain jar and cover with free-standing flowers and three projections each with a recumbent blanc de chine Buddhist lions, the base of lattice bronze with corded edge. Very likely to be of French origin, in the style of typically imported Chinese centrepieces of the period.
