About the Item
Attributed to Sue et Mare this art deco centre piece is composed of a silver plated oval recipient, and its original cut cristal liner.
The decor is a beautiful example of the French art deco period, circa 1925, and typical of Sue
Mare delicate ornementation and refined lines.
The glass liner is most probably Baccarat crystal with a star shape cut at the bottom and circle shapes cut all around the edge of the glass liner.
This centre piece decorates the interior on its own displayed on a side table or sideboard and is also perfect to present fruits or even a bouquet of flowers on a dinner table.
It is in very good condition, no dent, no chips, just patina and a rare find with its original glass liner.
