About the Item
The French silversmith SFAM, Paris (Société Française d'Alliages et de Métal), designed this stunning Art Deco centerpiece or serving bowl. The rare piece was crafted in France circa 1930. The tall pedestal is made of silver plate metal with a stylized floral and geometric embossed design. The insert bowl is in transparent blown glass with Art Deco geometric frosted etching. The centerpiece is signed with the silversmith's legal hallmark stamping on the underside.
Dimensions: 9.07 in wide (23 cm) by 9.07 in deep (23 cm) by 5.94 in high (15 cm).
