About the Item

Centerpiece mod. Spirale, designed by Achille Castiglioni for Bacci, in 1971. The object is of particular rarity because of its size (cm 31.5 Ø x 9 h). Made of black marble, the interior features a spiral steel spring designed to fit into the marble guide and lock into place. The base bears a plaque bearing the manufacturer's trademark and the designer's signature. Starting in 1984, the Spirale mod. has been produced by Alessi in two versions of cm 12 Ø x 4.5 h and cm 16 Ø x 7h.
