Extraordinarily decorative centerpiece from Italy made around 1900.
This object is a typical Italian centerpiece, made of semi-precious stone, in this case a sophisticated combination of calcite with an onyx setting.
The extremely popular material is combined with a high-quality finish.
The classic shape consists of a narrow round base with a thin shaft that opens into a large flat bowl. The entire old construction is characterized by an extraordinarily beautiful play of colors between the different stones.
Measurements approx.: height 7,87 in - 20 cm, diameter 9,84 in - 25 cm.
