About the Item
Large centerpiece in 925/1000 sterling silver gold plated with translucent fired enamel on guilloche. Round base with rounded edge, diameter 15 cm, height 3.5 cm, with sculptures of 3 winged lions, height 13 cm, holding a bowl with diameter 18 cm, height 6 cm, with 3 handles in the shape of swan necks. Maximum width 22.5 cm, total height 27 cm. Total weight 2,077 g. With ornaments in the French Empire Napoleon III style. Small faceted rubies in the eyes of the lions and swans and a cabochon ruby, diameter 8 mm, in the center of the base. Designed by Giorgio Salimbeni in 1996 and produced at the Salimbeni company headquarters with manual workmanship by skilled artisan artists with a high thickness plate suitable for withstanding numerous high-fire enameling firings at around 800° C
